The Challenge
 London Guest Suites offers short and long term apartment rentals around the world to vacation and business travelers. When they first teamed up with Alternative Systems they were struggling with a static web site that was only able to offer visitors a few properties. Each time they wanted to add an additional property they had to pay their web developer a sizable fee. The challenge for Alternative Systems was to create a database driven site, with full e-commerce capabilities within a well defined budget.
The Alternative Systems Solution
Alternative Systems first examined the competition - large and small - to determine the standards that other companies used to offer vacation rentals online. Using that knowledge we then implemented a sophisticated online database allowing the London Guest Suites staff to update properties and track reservations. The back-end includes online faxing, payment processing, automated and scheduled e-mails and more. The corresponding front-end allows users to search for properties via a complex search engine, dynamic city maps and property code finds. Each property display includes photos, property descriptions, dynamic maps and video tours. Users can register online, check property availability and even book properties online. The end result allows London Guest Suites to display hundreds of properties online - increasing bookings and revenue.
