The Challenge
American Canadian Caribbean Line (ACCL), the world's leading small ship cruise line, was searching for an alternative to the software prices associated with most cruise line software, which usually hovers above six figures. They needed software that would get them off of a paper-based reservation system, accommodate their special method for ticketing passengers, include accounting procedures and generate administrative reporting - all at a reasonable rate.
The Alternative Systems Solution
From Alternative Systems they got a custom package that contains only the functionality they were looking for, bringing the cost of automated reservations into line with their budget. System deployment was followed by training and documentation, system maintenance, technical support, updates and expansions. Today ACCL runs a completely automated reservation system.
